Guide privacy notice

This notice covers Sequana Fingerprint Guide in ChatGPT and at fingerprint-guide.sequanapi.com. Sequana PI Agency operates the guide. Contact hello@sequanapi.com for privacy questions or requests.

Information used to answer you

The guide processes process and document-stage choices, language, an optional adult/minor/unknown category, Canadian request purpose, and your report of the receiving authority’s apostille requirement. Guidance search uses short topic keywords; reading a source uses its guidance identifier. These inputs are processed to return preparation guidance. Names, birth dates, contact details, document numbers and documents are not needed. Please do not provide them.

Storage and review progress

The guide server has no database, file-upload storage, account system or saved user profiles. It processes inputs in memory for the request and does not persist them. Its application build removes console logs; Cloudflare Workers observability and log export are disabled for this deployment. The guide application sets no cookies and uses no local storage, advertising or analytics scripts of its own. Website selections and review ticks stay in the current page’s memory. In ChatGPT, the panel shares process selections and reviewed-guidance context with the host so the conversation can follow your choices. ChatGPT may retain conversation and app context under your account settings and OpenAI’s policies.

Hosting and other providers

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this public service and processes network/request metadata, such as IP addresses and request timing, to deliver and secure it. Cloudflare also appends its JavaScript bot-detection code to standalone browser pages; this security code may process browser signals or use security cookies according to Cloudflare’s settings and policies. It is separate from the guide application and is not included in the in-chat UI resource. Disabling application logs does not eliminate Cloudflare’s platform-level security, operational or usage processing. When you use ChatGPT, OpenAI processes your conversation and tool interactions under OpenAI’s privacy policy ↗ and applicable account controls. Opening an external source takes you to that provider’s service.

Support and your choices

If you contact Sequana, your message and contact details are used to respond, under Sequana’s general privacy policy ↗. Close or reload the standalone guide to clear its in-memory selections. Manage ChatGPT conversation history in ChatGPT. Contact Sequana about support correspondence or to exercise applicable data-protection rights; there is no separate stored guide profile to delete. This notice does not set a retention period for OpenAI, Cloudflare or your email provider.
